Wednesday October 20, Simon Youth Academy students wore orange for a number of reasons. We encouraged our students to wear orange in support of “Unity Day” 2021. The anti-bullying campaign, which started in 2011, uses the color because it is associated with safety. It was also International Pronouns Day. We seek to make respecting, sharing, and educating about personal pronouns commonplace at Simon Youth Academy.
